Old handcrafts have a long tradition also in this country. The traditional methods of carrying out these crafts require special knowledge and skills, which have been passed on for generations and are constantly evolving. Even though the old handcraft occupations have become fewer and fewer over time due to the use of modern machines, there certainly are people in our region who still practice real handcraft trades today.
